Liaises and coordinates, as appropriate, with the host government security organizations and/or personnel, including national and local provincial authorities, military, and copied from police officers, as well as non-governmental organizations and other non-State actors in the area of operation;
Helps to assess the security situation at the duty station and ensures adequate gathering and verification of security information that may be required for a proper analysis of the situation by the CSA/SA/FSCO/ASC;
Communicates information on security to the heads of United Nations agencies and provides host country security advice to UNDSS in the absence of the SA, as required;
Maintains regular contacts with Security Focal Points of UN agencies;
May be requested to provide technical assistance at SMT meetings, in the absence of the CSA/SA/FSCO/ASC.
2. Assists in maintaining the Security Plan, including updating staff lists:
Helps in the preparation and review of the UN Security Plan;
Supports actions during the implementation of the Security Plan, as required.
3. Assists the CSA/SA/FSCO/ASC in monitoring compliance with Minimum Operational Security Standards (MOSS) established for the duty station. Also assists with the compilation of data required for the MOSS Self-Assessment Programme.
4. Assists in reporting security incidents affecting UN staff, offices and assets, and assists in the preparation of security reports, such as the Security Incident Report, the Security Assessments and the Quarterly Incident Report.
5. Provides support in organizing and conducting training courses on security awareness and preparedness, and providing security orientation to newly assigned staff members. Conducts security briefings, as required.
6. Provides general administrative assistance to the CSA/SA/ASC:
Maintains routine and confidential correspondence files/documents;
Maintains a database on contact details in relation to host country security authorities;
Arranges appointments, receives visitors, places and screens telephone calls and answers queries with discretion, and takes minutes and/or notes at meetings.
7. Performs other security-related tasks assigned by the CSA/SA/ASC:
Conducts security evaluations and provides advice on security measures for the residences (Minimum Operating Residential Security Standards – MORSS) of UN staff, as well as on latest trends and threats to staff safety and security;
Establishes and maintains warden system and keeps update of information related to UN offices and residences;
Administers a pass and ID system;
Maintains liaison with commercial companies used for UN security at offices and residences, in order to ensure the effective and efficient use of the guard force.

Assists in ensuring residential (Minimum Operating Residential Security Standards – MORSS)and office safety, and security preparedness;
Provides general administrative assistance to the CSA/SA/FSCO/ASC
1. Assists the CSA/SA/FSCO/ASC in collecting, updating and communicating information regarding the security situation in the country:
Liaises and coordinates, as appropriate, with the host government security organizations and/or personnel, including national and local provincial authorities, military, and copied from police officers, as well as non-governmental organizations and other non-State actors in the area of operation;
Helps to assess the security situation at the duty station and ensures adequate gathering and verification of security information that may be required for a proper analysis of the situation by the CSA/SA/FSCO/ASC;
Communicates information on security to the heads of United Nations agencies and provides host country security advice to UNDSS in the absence of the SA, as required;
Maintains regular contacts with Security Focal Points of UN agencies;
May be requested to provide technical assistance at SMT meetings, in the absence of the CSA/SA/FSCO/ASC.
2. Assists in maintaining the Security Plan, including updating staff lists:
Helps in the preparation and review of the UN Security Plan;
Supports actions during the implementation of the Security Plan, as required.
3. Assists the CSA/SA/FSCO/ASC in monitoring compliance with Minimum Operational Security Standards (MOSS) established for the duty station. Also assists with the compilation of data required for the MOSS Self-Assessment Programme.
4. Assists in reporting security incidents affecting UN staff, offices and assets, and assists in the preparation of security reports, such as the Security Incident Report, the Security Assessments and the Quarterly Incident Report.
5. Provides support in organizing and conducting training courses on security awareness and preparedness, and providing security orientation to newly assigned staff members. Conducts security briefings, as required.
6. Provides general administrative assistance to the CSA/SA/ASC:
Maintains routine and confidential correspondence files/documents;
Maintains a database on contact details in relation to host country security authorities;
Arranges appointments, receives visitors, places and screens telephone calls and answers queries with discretion, and takes minutes and/or notes at meetings.
7. Performs other security-related tasks assigned by the CSA/SA/ASC:
Conducts security evaluations and provides advice on security measures for the residences (Minimum Operating Residential Security Standards – MORSS) of UN staff, as well as on latest trends and threats to staff safety and security;
Establishes and maintains warden system and keeps update of information related to UN offices and residences;
Administers a pass and ID system;
Maintains liaison with commercial companies used for UN security at offices and residences, in order to ensure the effective and efficient use of the guard force.

Purpose of the job
Plays a key role within the country sales team, driving excellence in store (4P) execution across key customers/key accounts for all categories present in the country category/brand portfolio. The role will also focus on building expert knowledge in the company’s key categories and sharing this with the customer in order to build long term partnerships and increase profit and sales.
Job requirement
- Minimum bachelors degree level ideally in a business related subject
- Must possess 7 years experience in sales/trade marketing roles within an FMCG environment
- Develops country/customer 4P strategy and tactics in line with respective sales and marketing directors, and building on global 4P strategy
- Defines category trade marketing KPIs across all company’s categories in the country
- Leads the country trade marketing team
- Defines and manages the trade marketing budget
- Contributes to category marketing plans, with customer & category analysis and promotional strategy
- Continuous analysis of the competitive and customer’s position in the country,
- Leads and supports trade marketing team in developing and implementing company’s promotional strategy
- Key contact for the marketing director and brand marketing team with regards to all promotional and customer act

Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Chief Security Adviser (CSA), Security Adviser (SA),the Field Security Coordination Officer (FSCO) or the Area Security Coordinator (ASC), the Local Security Assistant assists in the implementation of security operations and all matters relating to the management of safety and security for UN personnel in the country or in the region of assignment.

Manage tanker transport operations to support soap factory at Aba and Detergents factory at Ikorodu at agreed service levels and optimal cost.
Manage Port operations to ensure smooth customs clearance, effective berthing and discharge of cargos to ensure minimum demurrage charges, berthing charges and clearance costs.

Develop and agree Service Level Agreements and annual joint business plans with Customer SBUs and ensure delivery within agreed parameters for cost and service. This will include monthly KPI reporting.
Develop Strong operations team to ensure continuous improvements and effective round the clock operations. Including clear roles and responsibilities, developments and succession plans.
Work with colleagues in Materials Management, factory operations and key supplier to ensure optimization of End to End supply chain. Work with CIL / PZW to ensure shipments are effectively planned and executed.
THE PERSON:
The right person for the role must possess
B.Eng. degree with significant operations experience (5 years) managing high volume, high value bulk commodities Logistics. E.g. Petroleum, Palm Oil.
Experience of managing Bulk Tanker transport operations, Tank farm Operations and receiving bulk vessels essential.
Experience of establishing new start up operation desirable.
4. Experience of handling bulk food grade materials (E.g. for brewery or flour mill) desirable.

- 3+ years related experience in FMCG. Total minimum 5 years experience after graduation

- Make sure that existing Test methods (i.e. storage tests/transport tests/etc.) are applied.
- Work in/with close collaboration with QM/QA to make sure that latest Quality techniques are applied
- Would actively support technical implementation (line trials, packaging qualification and validation) of Packaging projects at External Manufacturers.
- Would work in/with close collaboration with Packaging Teams in other regions in order to transfer knowledge and learnings
- Work in partnership with international Multifunctional teams such as Marketing, SSG, Quality and Procurement to agree directions and project progress
